I woke us this morning and was genuinely boggled at the date on the calendar. I don't know where all of June and most of July have gone to, as the beginning of June feels like yesterday. Summer seems shorter every year, I swear.
In other news, burglary. To hear my sister talk about it, you'd think it had been us, instead of the next door - for certain values of 'next door' - neighbors being the closest to us to be robbed. Alarm systems just can't keep up anymore, can they? |
